Multiple Iguanas Pervade This Root With Bold Stance And Sharp Lines.The Artist’s Hands Were Guided Through The Piece By Intuition And Inspiration. All Of Our Carved Tables Take Inspiration From Their Place Of Origin And Shape. Once The Original Raw Root Is Found The Journey Begins. The Artist Visits The Birth Site To Take In The Surroundings And Study The Wood. It Is Then That The Vision Comes To Life And The Transformation Begins. The Wood’s Grain and Features Are What Inspires The Artist During The Carving Process. His Tools Are Guided Over The Piece As Running Water Flows Through A Brook. The Total Process Of Completing This Piece Took About 5 Years From Extraction To The Final Carving And Finishing. The Finished Piece Is Fitted With A Thick Custom Cut Free-Form Glass Top.
